I currently live in Indianapolis, IN and was thinking about moving to California. I know ZB lives in San Diego. Some of what I am hearing from people is discouraging. I keep hearing that the cost of living is too high and that there is a lot of traffic (like it takes forever to get anywhere).
One thing I don't like about Indianapolis, IN is that people here get married when they are 20 years old and there are lot's of churches.
I personally would like to live in an area where people are relatively free thinking and there is a low cost of living. I would like to get some other people's thoughts on this subject.
What parts of the country are good for Satanists?

I don't claim to be a Satanist. Lol. But seriously, I think Satanism is something which comes from within. As Hartnell says - he is in the Bible belt. If you want to find yourself free of judgement, you need to step out out of the Western world. ...In fact, maybe try Uranus, because even primitive people on this rock called Earth have predispositions.
At the end of the day it is either in your heart, or you need to follow someone who's heart it is in, or you need to leave the planet and start a new religion.
I do however understand the need to be able to connect with like minds. It can be lonely without such connections.

I miss living in the Bible Belt sometimes. But Cali is a pretty comfy place for literally -any- ideology.

California was a safe haven for americans long ago. Now it's overcrowded, expensive as fuck, non-white and highly prone to natural disaster. However, if you have a lot of money and a good safety net you might still be able to make a good life out there.
Generally with something like Satanism, you'd want to avoid most red states. The South isn't all hillbillies- it's actually pretty moderate and liberal in most the cities, like everywhere else.
I strongly suggest avoiding the Mormon Corridor (Utah, Wyoming, Montana) etc. Avoid some of the central flatland states like Kansas.
I'm around Utah. Do your research on those crazy fuckers. If you arent in their cult, they will make your life a living hell.

I am in San Diego California. I would suggest Southern California... Washington st, Oregon or Arizona.

Most of my interesting friends online live in california! And im stuck in florida but its not that bad, ive met some interesting satanists in florida as well, it seems that its becoming a hotspot for satanic activity much like california was

@ Zach Black- how would you say the cost of living is in San Diego or on the west coast in general? The rent I pay in Indianapolis, IN for a studio apt. is $460/month plus electricity. One of my favorite sins is sloth. If the rent is too high I'm concerned I may have to get two jobs. (I've worked 70 hour weeks before but I would prefer not to.)
I think I would like the west coast a lot better socially and culturally. When I bring up moving to the west coast people are cautioning me about the high cost of living and the traffic. I wasn't sure how prevalent that is.

I would say this, does not matter where you come from, what part of the world you come from. Satanism, does not fit in the world. Because of these other Occult pacts/Groups. Who damage us, and make us look like we are just a joke in this society. There is no where in this world, which Satanism fits in this so-called Society environments, of the world. Terrible world this has become, and it ain't getting any better.

I live in a dead end shithole small town of 6,000 in the middle of the desert and it's rare to rent or own housing for anything under 1,000$ and we're 200 miles from the nearest city.
