Is Boyd Rice a Nazi? | Forum

I would be interested in seeing Zach B. do a youtube video on this subject.  From what I understand, Boyd Rice was Anton Lavey's chosen successor to the COS.  Rice didn't want the position and then it went from Blanche Barton to Peter H. Gilmore.
I was watching some of Boyd Rice's youtubes and noticed that more than one involve Nazism in some way.  One features him in an interview with someone that is actually from the Nazi party.  Personally I don't think Rice was actually a Nazi, probably someone that flirted with Nazi influences.  Regardless I thought it was an interesting subject to bring up.

The last time I heard Boyd Rice found out that he is a direct descendent of Jesus.

Also Boyd at least for a time stuck with the Nazi/Fascist aesthetic the COS was into during the 80s. And as he understands it, that aesthetic have roots, or associations in classic Northern European Culture of antiquity, which ties into where he was when I last heard claiming to be a direct descendent of jesus, who in NS is seen as an Aryan or Indo-European, what is said to include northern Europe, so yeah.

That is true LaVey wanted Rice to take over the CoS. Why exactly Rice turned it down I am unsure. The CoS went to Barton. Barton was in a bad place financially when LaVey died. Gilmore supported Barton and her son for a few years. So Barton gave the CoS to Gilmore.

Do you think Rice was a Nazi?  I've listened to some of his spoken word stuff on youtube and enjoyed it.

Well, back in the heyday of the 80s he was identifying with national socialism, if not aspects of it, so it depends on how you define "Nazi", or what you think it means. it was and is not what people tend to think of it.

Boyd may or may not be a Nazi. But I ask you ....does it really matter? Not to me it does not.

Quote from Zach Black Boyd may or may not be a Nazi. But I ask you ....does it really matter? Not to me it does not.

I wanted to ask about it mattering, but chose not to. Though the question isn't in the present tense, it's in the past tense and asked out of anecdotal curiosity, I think that's why I changed my mind about asking how it matters.

I don't know who Boyd Rice is but assume he is a Satanist... Yes?

Nazism is a political agenda and if Boyd was a Nazi I think it only speaks to the variety amongst Satanists. If you read the political thread on here it is very clear that individuals have very diverse political preferences based on their own personal experiences (hopefully).

And that is a good thing because religion/spiritualy, although may have an influence on your political choice, should never dictate it. Let our minds and our votes remain free.

I heard tonight that although Hitler was a fan of Aleister Crowley the feeling wasn't mutual. Crowley did however use this to his advantage and the advantage of his countrymen by feeding Hitler false intelligence. He assumed his name as a traitor would be cleared after the war but the powers at be never did him that service.

Hi ShadowLover

I wasn't even aware Crowley was German. It suddenly occurs to me that you freely admit that this was something 'heard'. Gotcha.

Apologies... I must have worded that as clear as mud.

I didn't mean Crowley was German... I was saying that he helped his British countrymen by feeding Hitler misinformation.

My point here is that Nazism/Fascism tend to demand a great deal of conformity from people.  Satanists believe in non-conformity and individual freedom.  Most military style governments believe in conformity and groupthink.

I saw this video on youtube of Boyd Rice's Total War.  I wonder who made this, Disney?

no, it use clips from this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkcF8NDqTtY

there's much more to the whole "Nazi/fascist" paradigm that goes deeper than conformity, it's more about being/becoming great/refined and recognition of National connection, that is connection to one's national roots. Conformity has nothing to do with neither fascism nor national socialism, that's a hearsay thing to say it's about conformity. It's not like there is some one saying, "jump!" and every one else responding, "how high?!"
