too bad the third installment, 3 from hell, turned out to be so atrociously bad. rob zombie started out so great, what happened? house of 1000 corpses and devils rejects were amazing, i have only praise for those two, but then he just completely fucks up every other movie he made after that. maybe he shouldn´t write every single character in his movies as a scumbag, nasty corrupt cop, asshole, increasingly annoying bitch, whore or pervert. could you imagine what it would be like if rob zombie does a remake of lord of the rings? every character would be the golem, and in the midst of all this nonsense his wife would prance around hissing and screeching and laughing like a silly old hag, with the audience stabbing out their eyeballs while trying to unsee what they had just witnessed. i know i sound like a jerk slagging off his works like that, but apart from his first two top-notch must-see movies, every other one was pure torture for me.
