Fictional Satanic Characters | Forum

It's often said that it's not easy to spot a Satanist, meaning of course, that Satanists are individuals so we don't follow any group fashion. So, for the sheer fun it, I ask the following question:

What fictional character, if a real, would you expect to be a Satanist?

This question is also a challenge. The character must have no overt signs of being a Satanist: no devil tattoos, their name can't be Demontron, have demon claws, wings or eyes, demonic lineage, be from hell, etc.

@FraterLuciferi:

Why the fuck YODA??!!!

Just kidding. ;)

Yoda is a demon and therefore doesn't qualify as an answer.

Just kidding ;)

But, seriously -- er, why Yoda?

@Padowan: I'm surprised I didn't think of that one myself.

Mouse, from Reboot.

Does the fact she has fangs disqualify her? Hmmm.

Matrix, from Reboot.

Personally, that's too pop psyche and fluffy bunny for me, but I will accept it as your view.

The scene you're talking about is where Yoda teaches Luke Skywalker about his shadow self and Lucas is doing some foreshadowing involving Luke's role in the overall theme of the whole film. Knowing your (jungian) shadow self is a part of that whole "undefiled wisdom" bit, so...

Fuck. Y'know what, you win this one. Yoda at least represents something a bit Satanic. But I totally disagree with your reasoning.

Charlie Harper from "Two and a Half Men" because he enjoys his life and doesn't make too many apologies for who he is. At the same time he is successful and independent.

@ShadowLover: Yes, I'd definitely expect Charlie Harper to be a Satanist , kudos.

This has had me thinking for a while now. I would have to say I would suspect Lois Griffin of being a closet Satanist. She knows what she wants, and how to get it, she is not afraid of doing what needs to be done.

Her god like tolerance and patience for her family members shortcomings shows she is tapped into a much higher knowledge. Her violent and masochistic tenancies boil quietly beneath the surface, completely hidden and completely under control until she feels she has found an appropriate moment to let them breathe... Would it really surprise you to come home to find her dancing around a burning inverted crucifix, naked and covered in lambs blood? I sure can imagine that.

Maybe I am just projecting too much onto a character whom I have been very, probably too fond of for many years.

Here are a few I consider to have tendencies I consider Satanic.

George Costanza Always taking it up a notch.  (lex talionis)

Malcolm Reynolds  - Entire series for heterodox premise (amoral compass)

Holden Caulfield (empathic antinomianism)

PCU  - The Entire Movie (For being too ahead of its time)

Hunter S. Thompson's Fictionalized Version of Himself

And With Bill Murray

Dr. Jekyll obviously.

Wait, I've got another one, Mr. Hyde.

Wait, Bugs Bunny also. He has two suspiciously long ears.
