Here are some of my favorite Satanic bands. There are to many to mention so I will stick to some of my favorites. And when I say Satanic bands I mean bands than consistently echo satanic themes and ideology through out there music. To the point were the consistency has to be intentional.

Although this one is pretty obvious I decided to toss it in there for those who have never heard of them.

Ghost B.C.   - Year Zero

The Cramps - Lux Interior ( Light from within ) self professed Satanist.

Type - O Negative -  Peter Steele self professed Satanist

#v#2#v#

Hank 3 - One of my personal favorites

The Rolling stones

The Church of Satan was formed 1966

Rolling Stones released their album - Their Satanic Magesties request

The Satanic Bible was released 1969

Rolling Stones released their hit song Sympathy for the Devil

Mick Jagger did the sound track for Kenneth Anger movie Invocation to my demon brother. Which LaVey appeared in. Anger was also a member of the order of nine or the order of the trapezoid which was the original founding members of the church of Satan.

A credible source told me that LaVey would send Mick Jagger a birthday card every year.

Janes Addiction -

Not sure about the entire band but the former guitarist Dave Navarro sports the symbol of brimstone on his neck.

Mountain song by Jane's addiction seems to be loosely base on Nietzsche Thus Spoke Zarathustra .

Ministry

Rob Zombie

Nine Inch Nails - What nailed Jesus to the cross? What is considered the most magical number in certain philosophies of Magic?

This song heresy is so simple and to the point. Brings shivers up my spine watching thousand people singing along to this.

Marilyn Manson -

Pretty obvious but worth mentioning . Trent Reznor was responsible for bring Manson into the mainstream

#v#18#v#

#v#18#v#

Bad Religion -

#v#18#v#

Pretty obvious but some of you younger people may not know of them

#v#18#v#

#v#26#v#

Smashing Pumpkins -

#v#26#v#

Crowley anyone

#v#26#v#

#v#30#v#

Nice shirt Billy

#v#30#v#

#v#34#v#

Phil Anselmo of Pantera quoting Crowely  @ 00:50

#v#34#v#

#v#34#v#

Well the list could go on for some time. Buy no means am I saying I am positive all the musicians are Satanists. But, I have seen enough consistency through the use of lesser magic and imagery that I am highly suspicious. Or I have read interviews where they said they are or mention LaVey or Crowely.

As the good ol' Fritz, I could only believe in a god that knows how to dance. So here's another obvious:

Dance with the Devil.....

IMHO, it's rare for a band to be as Satanic as these guys: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_0pXQFqxTg

They're a band who wants their audience to have a really good time at concerts. It wouldn't surprise me if they had known Anton.

I'm not one to judge the authenticity or not of satanic bands, either way, but a few obscure and mainstream music acts certainly have consistent themes in some of their albums. I like Hank 3's take on shit-kicking rock-a-billy. I don't think many would even consider P-Funk, although I've heard some of their more darker material was inspired by Process Church teachings. P-Funk all-star Bootsy Collins is one of my heavy influences as a bass player.

Then you have the obvious ones with their niches in certain genres. Danzig and Superjoint Ritual are personal favorites, goes without saying. Some old-school ones like Venom and Pentagram are pretty self explanatory also.

Too many to list, but those I mentioned command some of my favorites in the genre, there are a helluva lot more.

Now the heavy stuff:

Bloodthirstyringmaster
One of the bands that has recently interested me is Gorgoroth... These guys are anti-christian/Satanic to the root.. They even made animal sacrifices on stage, and have props of the crucifix and others..
