New SIN Chat Fundraiser | Forum

I've talked to Zach and he's fine with it all. I'm somewhat is IT guy when it comes to things. He just isn't all that technically inclined. The $250 would go towards hiring a freelancer to make a custom chat room which would include a secure network, so only people from SIN could join the chat and their ip address would be masked through a proxy to protect some people on SIN. I hope that helps and I would really love to see a personal chat room. Thank you. 

I am on board. Video chat rooms are expensive. We can continue to use what we have for free. But, if others would like to use a higher quality one we can pass around the donation bucket. I have no idea what the OP has in mind, but I got 20 bucks on it.

This has been an ongoing discussion since the beginning of this site. If I can spare some money, I'd be more than happy to chip in. Hopefully this works out well and doesn't crash and burn. Yay for personal chat rooms!
