Hey guys, I'm not sure how many of you know of the Australian hip hop group Bliss N Eso (BNE).
I've listened to a lot of their songs lately even more so than I usually do (I'm a hip hop head) and wondered whether they were Satanists? I'm just curious. I love their music and will continue to listen to it, but if they were that would be a bit of an added bonus really!
Some of their songs (quite a majority really) challenge religion and right handed beliefs (like in the song "Addicted") and also present magic through a hooded, winged faceless creature that's been involved with their last 3 albums. They also blashomise religion, mainly Christianity like "send that hail mary flying" for example, in almost all of their songs also in a song, challenging people look at Satan and see if they can "keep their faith". They also use Satanic hand gestures in concerts to bless the crowd and refer to themselves as "3 cheeky devils" on occasion and Eso (who's recently also gone solo as well) occasionally dresses in devil costumes or partial costumes or has others dress up as devils or Satanic beings in music videos (I've never been to a concert before, unfortunately last time they were in my city I was 17 and it was adults-only :'( ) . These are just some examples, there are more, but ultimately I am lazy and can't be bothered listing them all LOL.
I am just curious if anyone knows more than me, I love BNE and would continue listening to them no matter what, but it would be a bit of an added bonus because I know that propaganda really finds its way into music.
But Music is about as subjective as things come.
