Why I Don't Fear Going Solo

What about you? Are there any activities you'd rather do alone than with other people? For example, I prefer going to the movies alone because I can better concentrate on the movie. I go to the cinema to watch a film not to meet with friends. Do you feel lonely when you're alone or can you enjoy your own company?

One day, a friend called me and asked if I could go with her to the cinema to watch Michael Jackson's This Is It. I answered that I hate such movies and told her to go alone. Later, it turned out she hadn't gone. When I asked her why, she answered that she couldn't imagine going to the movies alone. I just don't get it.

Was she angry with me? I don't know and I don't care. I was once tempted by another friend to go to the movies with her and was disappointed. I don't have to like the same movies as my friends or family. I also went once to the theater alone to watch the musical "Cats".

I like going out to dinner with friends or family. I also like having guests at home. I also like sight-seeing with friends. But I don't mind the time spent alone. I enjoy my own company. In fact, I'm a bit of a loner. I enjoy solitary walks, especially in the woods but not only, reading a book, watching a movie alone.

I'm really jealous. No, there are no woods where I live but I sometimes visit my father. There are beautiful woods in this area. Also, when I was looking for a job a couple of years ago, some schools were located near the forest. I always went for a walk there before or after the interview.

I prefer going places alone if I'm going because it's a special interest of mine. I went to see the first Fantastic Four movie alone, twice, and am glad I did. I could just relax and enjoy it in my own bubble. When I was frequenting a comic book store, I almost always went alone. The few times I was joined by someone, my enjoyment was lessened, because I couldn't just relax in my own bubble and stay as long as I wanted to.

I can understand this, some people just can't get it right. They think you're lonely because they project their loneliness to you. Don't let them bring you down.

I like and enjoy to be alone  when I am meditating  or when I'm thinking to solve a problem,  but I'm extremely excited when I am working with somebody else or when I  am among young people,  I like to listen their enthusiastic conversations,  but to watch a movie,  I prefer watchinning  it alone in my own room,  there I can behave as my own. I feel that sometimes it's good to be alone to do certain things,  but I think it is better to be with another human being to interact.

I won't say I'm lonely because I'm not interested in having any friends. I prefer to enjoy my own company and I'm devoted to my personal path.

This is weird because I swear I remember you saying how you would wish to find like-minded people to conduct rituals with, establish the black house, how we are all social animals and how Satanists need a tribe etc. Now you say something different. Damn man, you change your views like gloves.

I am more of an introvert than an extrovert, as a matter of fact I love being alone. This includes studying college, working alone, hiking, and reading books without any distractions. I oftenly feel that my dad pressures me on the whole college social life scene.

When I speak about rituals I speak from an ideological point of view. Ritual is what connects Satanists together as a group and it's the only thing that can do it because Satanists have basically nothing in common.
