What do you all think? Would you like to see more statues like this around, and if so, in what sorts of places? What about LHP figures other than the Horned God, such as some sort of Earth-mother, Lucifer, or even the Infernal Archangel himself?

I don't think religious monuments should be on tax payer land including religions I support. The entire intention with TST monument is to get the separation of church and state. To get other religious shit of state and federal grounds.
I do not support TST on this. Here in Missouri a group of people was able to get a Jesus fish removed from a monument dedicated to some Veterans, And this statue was even paid for with private money, although it was on public land.
Those people didn't need to call the ACLU or threaten to put another statue up next to it, no. All they needed to do was know the law and use it.
It is bad enough that I have to pay for some person to wipe pigeon shit off of a christian monument I don't need to pay him to wipe bird shit off of another.
And where does it stop? If TST gets their pretty little statue up what's to stop Islamic people from wanting their statue put up, or Hindu, or Jewish, or Zeus? I met a guy the other day who belongs to a group who thinks the movie The Matrix is real shit and that it is full of code about what the USA government is doing to us, so now I got to pay for a statue of Keauno Fuck Reeves to be erected because he doesn't want to feel left out and wants his religion represented.
So now instead of paying 1 guy to clean bird shit off 1 statue, I know have to pay a crew of 50 to maintain a plot of public land that is nothing but statues representing all religions. Fuck no!
I don't think that there should be any religious monuments on public land, including Christians.
I hear them say that, but I don't see them doing it. They seemed happy to be able to have their murals put up during Christmas time and seemed content about achieving that goal.I see your point. And I am not defending TST. The monument is why I got on board. The coloring books and holiday display nonsense id one of the reasons I resigned.
They can say one thing, but their actions so far say "we want equal space"
I was talking to another blogger who writes on the topic of Satanism [satanicviews.wordpress.com, if you're interested] about the Baphomet statue set to be erected in Oklahoma, and while we both agreed that it was an appropriate & effective way to challenge the Ten Commandments monument, we also agreed that the ideal place for such a statue in it's own right (if it weren't being used for political purposes, that is) would be somewhere like a park, maybe one specifically dedicated to the LHP. From what I understand, the Christian monument was destroyed, and if it wasn't/isn't going to be rebuilt, why put the Baphomet there anyway? (I still think it should go there if the other one is rebuilt though.)
