We, as Satanists, will more than likely leave it alone. Honestly, I do not think the bill will pass in this state. Michiganders are tight asses but, for what it's worth, I think that it will go belly up.
We are making a huge fuss about it here in Michigan. Right now, that is all we really CAN do.

And what, per se, do you think this Detroit chapter of the TST is going to really do in the way of a Bill that hasn't been signed into anything yet?

That would be a sight to see. I have to admit that the monument is a beautiful piece of work. I'd love to see it and be able to touch it. I admire good craftsmanship. :)

Maybe do what the TST does best, and take advantage of the "religious plurality" that the bill is promoting to discriminate against Christians.
Since it hasn't passed yet, I would maybe let slip into the media word that the TST loves this bill, and would take full advantage of it.

I guess not hearing anything about or from the chapter that is in my state really makes it hard for me to believe that it is there and raring to go at a bill that probably won't make it through to be an actual threat to anyone. Hell, it's hard to respect anything, really, that comes out of Detroit these days. Are you sure the chapter is in Detroit? We outsiders didn't even realize people still loved out in that city after it was ripped apart by an economical collapse.
I'm just joshing with ya.. There are definitely people living down there.. I mean, who do you think escorts visitors across town because they can't park their cars on the side of the road in front of the venue they are visiting? ;P
Of course, mild mannered joking coming from a Michigander.
All I'm saying is, why is it the job of a group of Satanists to defer something like this? Are we capable of something more special as "Satanists" than other people? Perhaps, this bill doesn't have me at the crotch of my pants quite as much as it does others from other states.
