Firstly, I'm thrilled to have found this forum. It lacks the pretension of other Satanic forums, but still manages to maintain an edge that will appeal to those who walk this path. Good work.
I would like to use this thread to see what eventually lead you here. What was your prior experience with Satanism and perhaps other Satanic sites or organizations.
I became enthralled with Satanism in my early 20s after reading the Satanic Bible. I was never sure how exactly to apply it in practice so I studied, and sought out other Satanist with mixed results. I was TRYING to be a Satanist, and in the process missing the real point (IMHO)...freedom and knowledge.
The real turning point for me was my decision to get sober, to stop drinking, and become the person I really wanted to be. It was a rough road, and nothing seemed to get better until I revisited the Satanic Bible and other LHP works. Things began to click. I was able to harness inner strength I never knew I had. I came back stronger, sharper and more determined then ever.
During this period I also revisited the CoS and to my dismay found an organization that simply can't get out of its own way. They seemed more then willing to cut off their nose to spite their face simply to maintain an air of elitism...it had transformed from an eclectic group of rebels and iconoclast to a bunch of emo nerds looking down their noses at the world and eachother. I never joined the CoS, never saw the benefit...they claim to be an elite group of movers and shakers, but all evidence would suggest otherwise.
I still hold the Satanic Bible in the highest regard, I use it as a blueprint for success, and have achieved much applying the tools presented in it to my life.
I'm happy to be here , happy to read the words of others who at least understand where I'm coming from even if we don't see eye to eye .

Hail Satan!

Well, welcome to SIN. Trust me, the pretension still exists and it took a long time for this version of SIN to come about. However, past is past.

I came to SIN following JasonKing and DanDread. I was an avid user (Libertine II, as their system worked0 of the Modern Church of Satan. I met both of them through MCoS and later at the 600 Club. I actually massed joined most of these networks seeing how each worked and how to get on with the other users.

When I joined SIN, it was very young. It had just started up and a lot of the bigger names were at SIN. Probably the first time I ever used a video chat room. I have not left since. I was an admin of SIN for a long time and I enjoyed that quite a bit.

My first step was that I like reading and I like learning about new philosophies or religion. An old user here handed me the Satanic Bible and told me he thought that I would enjoy it. I did and wanted to know more.. and that led me to other sites and eventually I left MCoS and stayed here.

Enjoy your stay.

I've known Zach online for a while. I was part of the original SIN and I watched his videos for years before that.

Now I help run the place ^^

My first forum was Letters to the Devil and Satannet/Undercroft. I joined there in 2010 and it was my first forum in general. I was a total noob, posted some silly introduction, followed by a couple of childish posts so the whole peanut gallery started ridiculing me. Later, it changed as I got used to the place, started posting some more mature stuff. I got some respect and online buddies there.

I joined SIN a couple of months later. I stumbled upon it by accident through the old Church of Satan Facebook group, if I remember well. I and the guy called Tim were both the only resident Christians here. I enjoyed the discussions and all the drama and bitch fests here until last year it all fell apart. I and many other users moved to the Circle of Descent, which failed miserably after three months so I came back to SIN. It was quite unpleasant because I quarreled with many people in the meantime. I enjoy the present SIN, new discussions here and the company of new people, many of whom are quite clever, though I sometimes miss the good old SIN just like I sometimes miss sweet childhood times. Pardon me, if I got too nostalgic.

I'm also quite an active member at 600 Club.

So you went on a quest for the O9A related Satanism and ended up on Satanic International Network. This is wyrdful and... weird. Strange are the ways of the Google God.

MReynolds, I have it from trusted sources that the ONA plans a liaison with Christianity, mainly the Catholic Church. This is why Myatt has gone so soft with his latest writings. He and his friends are trying to pussify the ONA to make it more palatable for Christians. There is a rumor that there were a few secret meetings between Myatt and pope Francis. This also explains the ONA soft stance on pedophilia. They don't want to piss off the Catholic Clergy, many of whom are pedophiles for the sheer joy of it. In return, the Catholic Church will encourage and promote fascism and xenophobia to destroy democracy and in this way speed up the coming of Vindex.

Believe me. It's a big sinister conspiracy.

You have a lot to catch on. Myatt gave up Islam and extremism. Now, he's writing about compassion, humility, empathy and criticizing all forms of extremism as they put some abstract ideology above love and simple human empathy.

You can read some of his latest writings here:
https://davidmyatt.wordpress.com/

And yeah it does exist in the real world. There is a traditional nexion in Poland, for example. Some people work on their own. I'm in the O9A facebook group. From time to time, people post photos and talk about their experience with some physical tasks, like walking long distances with a heavy pack and bow-hunting. They ask for advice, share practical tips, like what boots it's best to wear, what pack to choose. You know... they are trying to follow the Path.

Quote from MReynolds The O9A confuse me as much as they interest me

Perhaps, because you focus too much on people, what Myatt thought, what he didn't think, what he did, what he didn't do. At the end of the day, what remains are the mere words on the screen and ideas that can inspire you or not, some are useful to you, others not. If something catches your interest, then you can pursue it further. If you find something useful, then you can start implementing it in your life.

Some people call the O9A internet stuff and mythos mindfuck but that too can be beneficial to you. You can believe it or not, but most of my blogs have been inspired by the O9A online drama and fables.

I once read a short diary of a journalist who spent a month as a homeless person, not as a vagabond, but living in the shelter. He did it to describe the conditions in such shelters. His account was quite horrid.

Personally, I think life offers us enough of ordeals, tests and challenges, whether we want them or not. Not all of them are spectacular, most are minor day to day problems but they can still teach us something.

Pursue your dreams, MReynolds. You're a cool guy.

As for vagabonds,

A Vagabond In Exile From The Gods

Now, doesn't this guy sound like a good Christian?
