A Satanic Utopia ... Is it even possible? | Forum

Utopian satanism is not likely, I could see smaller cabals founded on similar ideals. But satanism is a fairly varied idea due to the emphasis on individualist liberty. I could easily see a lot of factionalism and horns locking due to differences in ideas, much like a political party system. The closest thing I can see to a satanic utopia would be a libertarian democratic system full of competition to bring out the strengths of the people, pushing them to their bests for ones own good and that of society in its entirety.

There are such things as sutainable communities, where like minded people have formed communal living atmospheres. like minded people live in the commune, contribute labour, and finances to keep things going. There's a place called Intentional Communities.Org, where you may make a listing for a forming community, list all the membership requirements. So yea it could work.

Okay, in my past post to this thread not only did I consider this topic dead but removed myself from further involvment to this thread, I logged onto this site and do something that I rarely, if ever do and what did I see? A new post added. I actually went back to catch up on the prior post after noticing that this thread ended up with a second page. The first thing that went through my thoughts was the fact that dispite my decoration of death upon this thread people are still giving there two cents and all of these new posts agree with the prior ones there can not be a satanic utopia. Yes everyone before and after my last post make good points but I stand behind what I said about this being a dead hourse, but perhaps I was wrong in removing myself from this conversation in that I feel that those posting have all got some great points to make.

Shit, I'll even go out on a limb for revel that as far as a small community of Satanist might very well be plausible but I might very well should admit that there is a falacy in this that is the same in all scenarios and that is to many leaders and too many individuals in the Satanic community. It would fall apart within a couple of decades but perhaps it is best to keep this in the realm of fiction at best and at worst just a bad idea from the very conseption.

If it was possible I am not sure I would want to be around nothing but people who call themselves Satanists. Most who carry the label are egotistical self-centered assholes. And by who definition of Satanist are we gonna go with? Yours? Mine?

These people would end using the majority of their time fighting attacks from christians. So, it would be sacrifice. I see sacrifice as very anti-satanic.

I think this could end in a place similar to Israel(if it have any success). Always in war, with people forced to serve in the armed forces or militias for several years. Even if I was a jew, I would never like to live in Israel. So, I don't think it would be funny to join the "Samael Defence Forces".

If people had the money and the resources you could form, an intentional and sustainable community and get assistance from http://www.ic.org ; This is the organisation for intentional communities and communes.
