Quote from BaphometsI have ideas about the blog issue. I think at this point, I could fix it, but all of the blogs on the site since 2014 will be lost.

The entire forum itself just feels like one big blog to me.

Anna uses words like "sorry" and "disappointment", but that's way too heavy and emotional for me when it come to the circus of internet forums.

I actually think Dan Dread formed a good analogy way back when. It's more like "plinking a can" in passing – no emotion to speak of.

It's just a collection of past plinked cans while plinking a few more on the way out.

This is good.

I think that last track is especially good, and I haven't put it up for a while. It does seem to have a sort of uniquely dark feel to it – all I needed was just a little text to wrap it up.

Quote from Baphomets CC, your writing here has never been clipped or censored. You should've never left. Everything you have to say is valued here...

I know this has got a little age on it now, and I almost expounded on it at one point. Then a while later with a follow-up of "this is good" reminded me, so why not...

My comments about "nobody caring" was not specifically in reference to my 'writing' in any way but directed at the so-called "community" aspect of some of these other forums, but not this one.

With some of these other forums such as DI. Referring to them as "community" as they do is nothing but a fucking joke and wishful thinking for the most part.

They're really nothing but a large group of pseudonym bearing strangers reverberating in their own little echo chamber of internet content who couldn't give two shits about any of their so-called individual "community" members.

I see well-established members drop off the radar that may as well be dead while the "echoing" continues on without even skipping so much as a beat – some fucking "community" that is. Meanwhile, I can't even disappear from my house for more than a few hours without raising some red flags and initiating some phone calls, but yeah, that is a little different.

So that's what the "not caring" was directed at and nothing to do with my writing. With respect to the writing(and of course the music), a lot of that (but not all of it) is just me entertaining myself at the usual times, or randomly, whatever the case may be.

You know what else these weak communities remind me of? The Hydra (in a much less meaningful sense)...

The Virtually Infinite Heads of the Primordial

The primordial juggernaut forever spiraling through existence and non;

establishing a medium by which to experience via its many heads...

The heads come and go,

where one may depart,

two may grow...

Reflections: Heracles and the Lernaean Hydra(second of twelve labors). Not one of my favorite tracks, but you know what they say: "If the shoe fits...". (But the graphic is kind of cool though anyway)

Edit: correcting the forum bugs is always a fun edit.

Yeah, I understand. You've stated more than enough times that you only write to satisfy your desire to do so and you basically don't give a fuck about anyone who may or may not read it and you don't give a fuck about anyone on forums.

If friendships and community are what you seek, stay on forums. If you don't give a fuck about that either, just write in a personal journal that is only for you. But it seems that you still write, not giving a fuck, in hopes that someone, somewhere will read it.

Something like that, but maybe more of a hobbyist compulsion than a desire. Lately I get a bit jaded and do it less, but still do it.

I've encountered some users over the years that I have interest in and follow some, but generally speaking I'd say no "I don't give a fuck".

And I don't choose forums for the illusion(or delusion) of "friendships and community" but because forums have the appropriate tools to create a worthwhile experience unlike blogs and "personal journals", but that's just me.

There's a lot here that's more than just black or white and as far as "the views" I suppose I don't differ much from some of the more mainstream social platforms these days in that regard. Coincidentally, I just came across a post in one of these recent threads saying "I don't give a fuck if anyone reads this". I made that post sometime around last year, and not to appear contradictory, I think I was just enjoying myself at the time, but in response to an explicitly direct inquiry, I would have to say that overall as a writer "the views" and the occasional interactions do have 'some' worth or I might just as well be writing on some low-traffic blog somewhere.

Being able to embed music is always a must regardless the venue. No music and I usually leave pretty quick.

I'll probably end up on a stint somewhere posting fucking poetry again. I have a bit of a surplus from the last place. And likely be in and out of here unless it totally shits the bed. Existence is strange, but I suppose it's better than being dead.

Well, as stated before - I read it and pretty much enjoy it. I like the music you choose as well.

When there's nothing else to write about, we just write about why we write!

If you divert to poetry, then poetry it is. I've liked that in the past too.

A Bit more on these so-called Forum Communities

Believe it or not, and with a bit of irony this place is actually more communal than the other place by a long shot. Lacking in numbers, but you, and especially the owner Zach have reached out and touched members in profound ways that are better left unsaid.

While conversely these other so-called "communities" back as far away from members as they can with their weirdo paranoid staff that hide their online presence, visits, and they hide any and all other parameters than can be hidden that are mostly just trivial shit that nobody cares about anyway.

And they operate their moderator controls with their ten-foot-poles because that's about as close to their so-called "online community" as they wish to get.

Fucking weirdo mods. Go play with the clown posse and have some fun – there's a couple of smart dudes there.

This particular site is raw. That's what makes it good. Yes, few regular visitors and even less contributors. But, what you see is what you get. And it is only as profound as one makes it to be. Afterall, we are satanists. This is a "community" with as little much as an open door. You'd think more folks would take advantage of it, but it can only be as good as we make it.
