It was 100% planned and everyone here was well aware of the risks because the threat had been made beforehand. Most folks would have backed out, but not our government. Everything proceeded as planned and we provoked China. No one was worried about it. Apparently that's what was supposed to happen.

Besides, ever since Russia invaded Ukraine, China's been waiting for any excuse to go after Taiwan. This just so happens to be the excuse. Next, China takes Taiwan.

I FUCKING LOATHE NANCY PELOSI.  Like what Dennis Miller says, "She's perpetually witnessing the docking of The Hindenburg".  A sacrosanct cheerleader best used as a chip to piss off China.  I am most surprised they (USA) didn't back down. Guess they are looking towards midterms as well. Gotta not look like pussy democrats to stop the slaughter in November. 

And China has a small cock, metaphorically speaking. They need to look like the best at everything as a matter of self esteem. 

Meanwhile their hubris construction economy is raping them financially. So they need a distraction from their housing crisis.  

They seriously grow via a pyramid scheme. The housing sector uses money from mortgages from unfinished buildings to pay for the next round of construction costs. And they expanded too fast to keep up. And their President, Xi Jingping-pong is a Winnie The Pooh Looking bitch too afraid to do anything but minor sanctions and the severing of some cooperation. Like climate shit.  Which is bullshit anyway. Sabre rattling with military excersizes and token end of diplomacy shit. 

Historical Tidbit:  Until 1972 Taiwan held The UN Security Council seat as "China". That shifted worldwide and by 1979 and Carter even The USA acknowledged the One Country thing. So this is sort a backpedal on the West's part that happened since China figured out how to sell cheap shit to everyone and become an economic concern. 

I mean look how futuristic they are with their state-of-the-art 20% occupied not yet paid for manufactured cities!

I haven't really been following it, but I did notice it on the TV when I was paying for gas, and I said to the guy "What's Pelosi stirring up shit with China now?"; he seemed to think it was all about semiconductors, although it did feel like a bit more than that at the time.
