Are the demons people draw just an extension of themselves? I feel like the demons people see are just a representation of themselves, the evil hindu gods the Indians came up with are just a depiction of themselves. Some knowingly and some unknowingly, some more open to embracing it, some less open to it

There could be any number of reasons why people draw demonic type entities. It could be an artistic depiction of the darker elements of the psyche, subconscious(repressed or otherwise), things they have seen in dreams, other real life depictions, or they could just be totally making it up, et cetera, et cetera.

Some have gone to considerable lengths in the elaboration and articulation of demonic entities. I myself don't typically see these as having a real existence, although what type and the extent of external entities that do exist remains an ongoing question. If I recall, I believe Crowley believed they existed and/or were fabricated entirely within.

They do exist in some form or another. It might be said that one has 'demons' meaning there is evil inside of them. They might even be born with it and/or the result of toxic nurturing.

Yup, and if he knew of sanscrit ideas he would have called them Tulpas too.

And they're amazing. They can pull Gene Harlow out of the recesses of the unconscious for a winning pink pie slice.

But let's kill this trope anyway.

Association with Satan opens a portal to the superunknown demon world. And dabbling will inevitably end up on a pretty noose in a Michigan hotel room.

The expectation exists just like the belief "spirit boards" (as opposed to the ideomotor reflex) cause possession. The mind is preconditioned to western mythical superstition, even in thoughtform creation. Like belief some fruitcake working is going to conjure up a real and for true demon. It follows the path of your automation and conditioning. E.g. it will never take an unknown trajectory. Meaning if you live in Oxycontin-Cousinfucker, West Virginia it's not going to be named Da Peng and come out the sea as a fish and transform into a bird.

Even Myopic Michael Aquino was talking to a thoughtform named Aiwass, sorry "Set". Same thing though. Like a knockoff of snake oil.

I'm not really into demonic shit, and was just going to leave it for the experts, but time was ticking, and nothing. So I forced a reply so as not to leave Sabrina the witch unmolested.

It's like they say though, truth can be stranger than fiction, and existence really is insane when you take a closer look at it, so who knows.
