Sister Senior Deacon walks to the door and knocks thrice, whereupon, the door is opened by the Tiler: "Sister Tiler, it is the will of the Worshipful Mistress in the East that a lodge of Master Masons be now opened in this place for the purpose of business. Sister Tiler: "Sister Senior Deacon, being so informed, I shall invite the Sistren in, and thereafter perform my duties."
Sister Senior Deacon re-enters the lodge room, gives the Sign to the East: "Worshipful Mistress, the lodge is duly tiled."
Worshipful Mistress: "How tiled?"
Sister Senior Deacon: "By a sister without the door, armed with the proper implement of her office."
Worshipful Mistress: "It is well."
Worshipful Mistress turns to the West and says to the Sister Senior Warden: "Sister Senior Warden, what is the second most important duty of a lodge of Master Masons before convening?"
Sister Senior Warden: "To ensure that all present are indeed Master Masons."
Worshipful Mistress: "How is the assurance of this performed?"
Sister Senior Warden: "We having been received by a sharp instrument upon our naked left breast as Entered Apprentices, and thereafter having been received by the points of the compasses upon or naked right breast as Fellow Crafts, all duly initiated Sisters shall have the Marks of a Master Mason."
Worshipful Mistress: "It is well. Sisters, it is so ordered, for the purpose of verifying that all present are Master Masons, that all Sisters present bare their naked breasts for inspection! Sister Senior Warden, perform your duty."
The Sister Senior Warden walks up to each sister and dutifully inspects their breasts for the secret Marks of a Master Mason. She then returns to her station in the West, gives the Sign to the East and says: "Worshipful Mistress, I am satisfied that all present are indeed Master Masons."
Worshipful Mistress: "It is well."
