Are you retired like I am? Discuss what you do during retirement. The Japanese don't have a word which is identifiable with the concept of retirement as we know it here in the western world. They have a word for retirement known as "ikigai" which is a concept translating to "Purpose for living". Once they complete their work, they repurpose themselves and thus have redirected their ikigai.

My ikigai is monastic life. What is your ikigai?

My ' ikigai ' will be to travel more than what I do,   I'm still working , and when I have time I  travel and visit different countries,  when I get my voluntary " purpose for living " I will just expand the amount of countries  I would like to visit. I enjoy visiting places where there is a superstition or a spooky legend , if Hell is real I would like to visit it as my last trip and if Heaven is real I wouldn't like to go there,  I don't like those noisy angels and people who mind somebody else business ,I don't like those hypocrite pastors and deceiver ministers,  self deceived religious people who think that they repented of the evil they have done and their  God of mercy has washed their sins and now they are the perfect candidates to live in that false paradise,  I don't like that kind of places.

Hey, you usually don't reuse videos you've posted already, "User X".

Request to repost the "Game Levels of E-Satanism" one?

No, unfortunately. And I really envy you man. Work is good but part-time job would be enough to satisfy one's personal ambitions. My friend retired recently and she's never bored. She has plenty of time for herself and to enjoy simple pleasures of life. But she's in good health and she has enough of money. She could continue to work but she doesn't want to. She said she liked her job, she was a hard-working person, but she often says there is time for everything, the time for work and the time for rest. Now, it's time for her to rest. It's a healthy approach, in my opinion. Often, people work too much though they don't need to and it's at the expense of their health.

In Poland, retirement incomes are low for most people. My friend is fortunate because she had a really well paid job. Many people have to take a part-time job, of course if their health condition allows them to do it. If they are in poor health and unable to take up at least casual employment or if their children do not help them, they struggle financially.

All in all, everything depends on your health. Retirement is enjoyable if you're fit. If you aren't, then it sucks.

When I retire (if I live long enough), and my health is decent, then I will use free time to go for walks, read books, travel a bit. I enjoy slow living. Maybe, I will continue to work but part time only, not two jobs like now. If my health is poor, then I prefer not to think too much about it. I will probably still be in the nursing home but not as a nurse but as a patient. Other people will wipe my ass and change my diapers. Oh irony, talk about shitty karma. I only hope that I will have such an advanced state of dementia or Alzheimer's that I won't be aware of what is happening with me.

Being sick sucks but if you're sick and helpless it sucks even more. It's the worst thing if you're completely dependable on other people and can't take care of your body. Even if you're lucky and people are kind and helpful to you, it's still humiliating, an ultimate blow to the ego that will show you your actual (not idealized or imaginary) place in the universe.

Retirement is for sheeple.

The gods of this world keep on building long past the age of vitality.
And their will passed down to generations long after the bones have crumbled to dust.

@Anna

I try to focus more on the 'apex' of development pertaining to the 'best' of what everything is about, I mean, after all, there are only so many ways you can phase something out. Either gradually and realistically, or, as if by magic
