I did realize yesterday that I misunderstood the initial question of post 58, but figured it was answered anyway, so moved on.

The most common way that I used to throw knives was by holding onto the blade and throwing like a baseball. So I'd estimate that at three or four yards it would be a half a turn, and whatever that distance it would be multiplied by three for 1 1/2 turns, although in practice maybe a bit less.

At close distances you can also let the knife slide out of your hand, and I've seen that technique once in a movie, but the other way is better, anyway, in a real fight throwing a weapon at someone just seems like a bad idea, and you'd be better off holding onto it in my opinion.

Here's a car even a Batman could love.

I have an autistic preoccupation with rarer cars made between 1961 and 1975. I know there are newers car, but...

Top 4:

4. 1965 Ford GT-40

3. 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C

2. 1969 Mach 1 Mustang 428 Cobra Jet 4-Speed

1. 1963 Corvette 427 "Split Window"

(Incidentally, Doug Marcaida is Filipino, and Filipinos have a reputation for being deadly knife fighters.)

Top Seven Karambit Knives

I like #4 - Brous Blades Enforcer.

I'd like to try boxing with one in each hand, blades pointed away from me, so that my punches carry the points to my target. I feel like an uppercut would be especially lethal.

I've concluded that if you are into cars at all, enjoy and appreciate whatever you have, then, if possible, you should learn and acquire the tools necessary to do all the work yourself.

Because as a general rule, it is YOUR car, and nobody will give a fuck about it, but YOU.

I need more metal working tools, for drilling, cutting, and welding, and a decent jack with a stand would be nice.

...and then the CC Charger will be on the road again!! When a license is acquired, that is.

It's four months now, with the exception of the other case which a lawyer is handling. The system in it's entirety is quite comical actually. I first laughed at it a couple decades ago when I was initially unable to acquire a fishing license because I did not have a drivers license, which resolves to : you can only fish if you drive? Wow, un fucking believable.

And now this idiotic system wants me to return my drivers license to them? Because in this day and age we understand how ingenious an idea it would be to try and use a suspended license, or perhaps they just want to confiscate my ability to identify myself, or any other ability that requires ID, but hey, I can always get one of those state photo IDs that was rejected in the first place, maybe it was a fluke, but seriously, get your fucking shit together, but given the system and the world we live in, that's just not possible.

But seriously, I know shit is fucked up, and I accept it for what it is, and besides, among many other things, it's fun slaughtering young girls at blitz (5 minute)chess, but that's just me, and of course, everyone is different.

Laser pistol! You know the military is interested - if they don't already have one.

A laser pistol is inefficient. It would require too much energy to kill a person.

The military needs a pimped out version of this:

Dolphin Echo Sound Stuns Fish

The idea is to have a rifle that shoots or projects an echo-sonic "laser" [meaning a super-coherent beam of echo-sonic pulses]. The rifle is aimed at people's heads or at computer components, to smash and pulverize the brains or computer components.

I hereby declare this idea of a echo-sonic "laser" rifle the intellectual property of the Order of Nine Angles. If the US military is interested in this idea, please pay David Myatt $175,0000 USD on behalf of the ONA.

I thought the same thing C, although I'm not privy to any of the current 'real world' laser weaponry, and much of the time I don't bother read half the shit posted in the threads that I reply, or do any research, because I only have an urge to write and nothing else.

RE : laser eye surgery : although powerful enough for cynical surgeons to fuck up a patients eyes enough so the rest of their life is made a living hell, and many times they kill themselves because of it.

Yeah CC. It's a simple ratio of Energy:Missile-Projection:

It requires relatively little gunpowder packed into a bullet casing to project a lead bullet at lethal velocity. The ratio is also proper with a simple bow and arrow set up. A bow simply requires a string that is pulled tightly in order to project or propel an arrow at lethal velocity.

A laser hand gun's Energy to Kill ratio is inefficient/uneconomical [re: a waste of energy supply, and therefore a waste of money/investment].

Economical meaning Causal mechanics: input --> output. If the input is less than the output [input < output] where the output is greater than what has been inputted, then its economical. For example: you give a camel a couple gallons of water, and it can cross the desert = economical. You feed a horse some hey and it can work for you for 8 hours in the field = economical.

The universe might be supremely "economical" :) Allthis from no-thing!

Knife porn. I'm a fan of the spring-assisted stiletto.

Cornelius Coburn

This immediately reminded me of the spring loaded mechanisms of ammunition clips and the reason they have a tendency to fail, different but still same idea.

Not to change the subject, but, a weapon that is not loaded is not of any use, especially when every second counts, and having clips fully loaded on standby where there is constant and complete compression of the spring mechanism will cause it to wear out much faster, although a couple drops of oil every now and then while releasing and unloading/reloading the clips helps.

With the knives I suppose eventually they may fail to completely eject and lock, so a folding blade seems more reliable in the long run, and plenty fast enough.

These look ideal for when you can get up close to someone and just want to gut them. But only if these come double-edged, which I guess they don't, since they're filet knives.
