Why do you need to label your personal philosophy satanic?
Why do you need to label your personal philosophy satanic?
Because I identify with cut of Lucifer's jib. Lucifer couldn't have become satan without authority to piss him off first. And that is so me to have a hair up my ass over an arbitray double standard and instigate self-immolative conflict over it.
Still, using the label for myself is only relevant here... everywhere else I'm just a control freak with an authority problem..
It is sorta like punk rock, you know the real shit when you see it. The stark difference between the below album and one by Pennywise. The latter may say "Fuck Authority" but you don't really believe them when they say it.
What do you do if you HATE the song that made you famous to the point where you eventually write an album called I Hate Myself And I Want To Die (changed to In Utero) specifically to get you dropped by your label?
This:
Says LaVey, Tom. At least in my case. Satanism is the meme system promulgated by LaVey.
Oh no! You're so wrong!
Satanism is an ancient religion that existed long before LaVey and that sets a barrier between Satanists and non-Satanists, enabling the former to form tribes, build black houses and celebrate Satanic holidays together. When we decompress ourselves in our ritual chambers, we are like gods and gods don't need personal philosophies.

In the satanic community I have noticed many label their personal philosophy satanic. My question is... Why?Because opinions differ but execution of ideas and the "on going" share similar traits. Why do you need to label your personal philosophy satanic?
Meanwhile, Tom, I think you want someone to say this: "It's not Satanism unless Satan is real and the practitioners have a relationship with him." This of course is highly reminiscent of the boneheads who pester people with questions like, "Do you know Jesus?"
Here's something to consider. If I say, "I am my own god," and then I say, "Satan is my lord and master," I've contradicted myself. You can have one or the other, or neither, but not both. I choose neither. When Satan materializes in front of me, maybe I'll consider the pros and cons of taking him as my master. When I command water to turn into wine and it does, maybe I'll consider the possibility that I'm some sort of god. Meanwhile, I have an outlook on life that works for me, and which I learned from LaVey. I also have a system of symbols that works for me: Satan and the Infernal Legions. I also have a simple yet effective technique for performing cathartic ritual, which I actually use to good effect in my ongoing pursuit of a more pleasing psyche.
All of which, by the way, is why I don't feel the need to join the Sect of the Horned God, which I mention since Satanist since more than a decade is here among us on this thread.
As for Nutzack, my main interest is in deciding whether or not he's an alter ego of Aborior.

All around the mulberry bush,
The monkey chased the weasel
The monkey thought it was all in fun,
Pop! Goes the weasel
A penny for a spool of thread, a penny for a needle
That's the way the money goes,
Pop! Goes the weaselUp and down the city road,
In and out of the eagle
That's the way the money goes,
Pop! Goes the weasel
Half a pound of tuppeny rice,
Half a pound of treacle
That's the way the money goes,
Pop! Goes the weasel
"In the textile industry, a spinner's weasel was a mechanical thread-measuring device in the shape of a spoked wheel, that accurately measured out yarn by making a popping sound to indicate the correct length had been reached."
