Liberal Synopsis: Georgia enacted racist laws that attack the rights to vote of ethnic minorities.
Conservative Synopsis: Georgia enacted laws because liberals stole the election and this makes sure it can't happen again.
My Cynical Editorializing:
Where they fucked up is making it a crime to give food or water to someone waiting to vote. Can't have liberals buying votes with water and such. And goddamnit a Democrat won the state of Georgia again!
It's somewhat brilliant.
The purpose was almost borderline. Like it was done knowing it would ultimately fail, but still make the state a victim of progressive values being pushed. Insert "states rights" play.
What if it's purpose is simply to provoke Biden into EXACTLY THAT. Taking an antagonistic position so Georgia can play the martyr in the face of big leftist government?
This is fucking great. They'll get that absolutely, but they really don't understand the marginalized mindset, at all. Unless the wanted to sew their own destruction.
They also just increased the voting rate and political participation of every Georgian with melanin. You don't fuck with a brotha's or vato's ability to vote.
They'll be like the first Black Navy Seal after his bag was cut open during his test, he will stay down there and pull it out just to spite your antagonistic racist ass.
But at least Georgia republicans thought that out completely. Well know for sure if they keep losing elections.
