I call such people cannon fodder because it's self-explanatory. There is a reason for their stupidity. It's the lack of perspective, the deplorable condition when you believe there is only one side of the coin because you are unable to see the other one. So you miss or ignore everything that contradicts your point of view, including the signs and situations that should serve as a kind of a warning (the red light) for you. As a result, the realization either never comes or comes too late, when you already suffer the consequences of your own ignorance. In this case, it's a truly embarrassing shitshow where badass shit disturbers revealed themselves as spineless cowards in the face of troubles. Just see how it looks like. They are now apologizing, backing down, betraying their oh so precious ideas and admitting they behaved like dumbasses. It could save them legal troubles (perhaps but I wouldn't count on that) but the shame will remain.
