What Maria is musing on with this song, I can relate. I've been drawn towards light and goodness in my life, towards some "God", but the truth of his lack of existence and/or narcissistic indifference cannot be ignored. The historical info cannot be disregarded.
There's a power in me untapped, I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for I don't fucking know what, but my third eye draws me somewhere. Gently pulling me along, drawing me further toward understanding (whether I want it to or not).
