I'm new to this and I am in need of guidance. I'm not sure where to start or how to begin. I'm interested in the rituals and doing things right.

I'm just starting to really get into this more seriously. So I am not sure what the difference is. This is why I am trying to find a group or someone nearby to help me become more informed and who I can learn from. My fiance feels the same way. We eventually want to start our own group, but need the guidance right now. We want to praise satan the best way we can.

People who are new and trying to get into it are a dime a dozen. Over half leave within a week or never make anything of themselves. Sitting down and explaining shit to them is a waste. Even this paragraph is one I've typed a few dozen times.
Trust me, you want Satan more than he wants you. So, step up and do something worthy of his attention, or go find yourself a crowd better suited to your need to be mentored.

I want to add my own two cents in here, so here goes - Kerry, in my opinion, one of the best ways to meet fellow Satanists is having the willingness to travel outside of your comfort zone, talk with others, see what their interests are, and look for those who may have a leaning towards an occult themed lifestyle, individualism, personal empowerment. By travelling and meeting new people from different areas of the United States, I have had some of the best experiences I think I could possibly ask for. It's not cheap by any means, nor is it always easy to get schedules in alignment to meet up but gather the courage to go out on a limb and take a flight or two if need be. I know here where I currently reside, I see little to any semblance of like minded individuals, so I basically "had to" go outside of my comfort zone. You might also want to consider renting small venues who give you the room for meetings when you get to the point where you have a significant number of people to gather, hold monthly meetings, publish a newsletter, set up a website, YouTube account, podcast for example. There are so many various ways to reach an audience if you are willing to put in the work.
